Ordering Your Cake With Us

Your wedding cake is a very important part of a very important day in your lives! For this reason, we do not believe that taking Wedding Cake orders online is appropriate, as there is no substitute for the personal service and advice we can provide through our shops. Once you have decided on which cake you would like to order, we only require a £30 deposit on the cake, with the balance due only after you have viewed your own cake a day or two before the wedding.

Accept our hospitality and enjoy coffee in our main wedding branches in Edinburgh and Broughty Ferry, while you view a selection of cakes, taste our wedding cake and discuss possibilities with our Advisors.

Design

In addition to the large range of contemporary and modern styles that we offer, we encourage our customers to incorporate their own ideas, mix and match styles, or bring us a completely original idea to work on.

Taste

Cakes are offered in traditional rich dark fruit cake, moist sultana cake as well as light madeira, chocolate madeira, carrot, toffee or lemon cake, each delicately layered with a smooth creamy filling.

Viewing

When you order your cake with us, a viewing date can be arranged in advance through either our Broughty Ferry or Montrose branches, or our Edinburgh Cake Shop, even if your order is taken at another branch. This will allow you to see your very own completed wedding cake in advance of your wedding day. 

Delivery

Wedding cakes can be delivered to venues within a wide radius of our 15 outlets. Alternatively the cakes can be packed in protective boxes to ease transportation for you. You can find the location of our nearest shop on the Contact Us page accessible from the top menu bar.

Cake Stands

We have a wide range of wedding cake stands suitable for many of the cakes in our brochure. Cake stand hire is included in the price of our cakes, though there is a deposit required on the stand which is fully refundable on return of the stand.

Communication

Your venue's wedding co-ordinator will be contacted prior to the wedding and sent detailed instructions regarding the delivery, set-up, cutting and storage of your cake.
